I blog (far too infrequently) at vanishingpoint@edublogs.org
Blogging for me is both a love ad frustration... the time investment to read, digest, and write is getting me down :( I am finding that I am reading from my rss reader (Newsgator Go!) now when I am sitting at red lights just to keep up... take that and two young kids (my youngest is 5 mos) writing is an activite I seem to be doing in my mind ... but not getting down onto paper... working on it though!
Hey Scott... I feel your frustration as well. We need to pick and choose our battles and resources. You describe a big dilemma that our students face as well. There is so much bombarding them that they struggle with their media consumption. Talk about 21st century skills!
My suggestion for you is to think about recording your thoughts vs. writing. Podcast your thoughts ... Use http://www.gcast.com.
I have a gcast account ... you may have a great ideas Scott... an edit free cast of thoughts and musings... I am also beginning to play with Jott.com to look at voice to text and autmatic posting to my blog for cleaning up.
Thanks, Scott, and thanks to Carol for the wonderful compliment! We're still fairly new, so if anyone has ideas or suggestions, let me know!
Also, I'm working on a submission system for guest bloggers...I'll let you know when it's up and running! Perhaps some of you will be interested in cross-posting something to TEN as well as on your own blog.
