I've noticed a recent trend on several of NINGs sites, related to education and/or ed tech. It seems profiles are being created for "members" whose educational connections are dubious, at best. Some are promoting ways to make money from the use of various web sites, while others are promoting a service that will "help" you with all your dissertation needs.

Well, I started the month in St. Charles, Missouri at METC, and look forward to closing out the month in St. Charles, Illinois at IL-TCE.
METC was a good conference for me, despite the rather poor travel conditions...fog going down on Monday and snow returning on Wednesday! My session was well received and even though I was in the "Dead Zone", the last session of the day, attendance was terrific. I didn't count the room but I went with 75 handouts and counted only 6 in my bag today. I know…

Having a site for attendees to go to for resources is definitely a plus for any presentation. Just look at the spikes in hits for the days following my sessions at IETC.
