2010: A Learning Odyssey

Hi Everyone-

We're trying to determine where presenters should post their handouts in this ning. Does it make sense to post them in this group? or on presenter's personal pages? or both?

It's only natural to have presenters use this NING for posting handouts. It gives conference attendees one place to go to for all their conference follow-up needs. Presenters can also link from here to their sites as well.

I think that there are several things:
1) You need a couple of standard tags for delicious -- I'd recommend one for presenters handouts, another for folks blogging a session and of course for the conference. Then, use the RSS feed on the Ning to pull in the most recent things.

2) Yes, if you're going to use Ning for EVERYONE (what a GREAT idea!) -- then yes, use it as a central place for EVERYTHING. I'd add a few profile questions asking for the website and also a profile question for Handouts -- it would be optional for everyone, but would put the handouts in a consistent place on the left hand side.

I really like how this ning is shaping up. I'm very excited about the use of it for the conference.
