Backchannel capabilities

Two weeks a go the backchannel chat I had in my two sessions at the Maine conference became an essential part of the presentation. It would be very useful to have some sort of archived backchanneling tool for the whole conference like campfire.

We can do individual google presentations like Maine, but wouldn't it be great to aggregate it all!

And it worked so very well to have someone moderating the backchannel -- answering questions, facilitating discussion, throwing in links. I'm going to be looking for some people who could help me by moderating the backchannel for the presentations.

Is there any discussion of having some sort of archived backchannel forum for the conference.
