2010: A Learning Odyssey

*Bring business cards – printed out on your home computer to
help with networking with others.

*Bring a sheet of address labels. This comes in handy at exhibits where you can sign up
for information or drawings.

*Upon arrival, orient yourself. Familiarize yourself with all of the conference locations
(Break out rooms, general sessions, luncheons, exhibits)

*Introduce yourself to other attendees. You may end up having a lot in common!

*Sit with attendees you might not know at lunch and strike up a conversation.

*Look at the conference book and plan out your day before coming to the conference. Remember to have several sessions in mind just in case your original plan changes.

*Get to the sessions early. Some fill up very quickly.
